South Seas Island Resort is beautifully situated on Captiva Island, offering easy access to the white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. The resort is a short drive from popular attractions such as the Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum and Sanibel Lighthouse. It is approximately a 60-minute drive from Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and a 3-hour drive from Miami. Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

My family has been coming here since 1983. Recently we got a golf cart and it started shaking violently. Was pretty scary. The chef Thomas Cook saved us and handled the situation so well!!absolutely amazing. I work for a resort myself and his response and concern for guest satisfaction was perfect. We’ve had a few hiccups this stay but that brought back the sense of community we love at south seas. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This resort is a hidden gem! So many beautiful and new amenities, gorgeous beaches, and amazing dining options. I could spend all day at the pool, and highly recommend reserving a cabana for the day! I am not a golfer, but did play a quick round with my husband. The golf course is very beginner- friendly, and offers beautiful views of the gulf and a nice breeze for a relaxing game. Restaurants offer great menu options, with beautiful views and all top tier service. One night we even had dinner with a view of manatees swimming in the marina! Everything is very well maintained and clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I spent my 30th birthday weekend at South Seas and it turned out to be the perfect tropical getaway, without having to leave the state!
