From the moment we checked in, my mom and I knew that the customer care was going to be exceptional. Our train dropped us off at 7:15AM. We decided to start our Philly trip with a one mile walk to the hotel, arrived around 7:45AM with the intention of dropping off our luggage in the luggage room and asking if they would have some rooms turned over by 11AM after we saw the liberty bell and independence hall. Instead, they checked us in. We were in our room at 8AM. My mom was able to shower and take a couple hour nap, and with the $20 meal credit, I went down and picked us up a few things to go from the restaurant (the overnight oats were AMAZING). If this hotel had the ability to make your stay easier, they did it. It was so fun to have nightly happy hour from 5-7 with free wine and popcorn. Umbrella? They had them for you to use for the day. The staff was exceptional, the rooms clean, and the atmosphere was joyful throughout the stay. My next stay in Philly will certainly be here, and I encourage you to stay here, too!

I really enjoyed our stay here! The room was really nice and had everything we needed. Quiet floor too! Didn't hear any dogs barking and they allow dogs! The staff were super friendly and very helpful! The valet parking was a little hectic but you just park out front and they come to you. Be patient and it'll all work out! The hotel bar was great too! Bar tender was helpful and friendly and we went at a good time when it was quiet and got to enjoy the place! Would definitely stay there again!

I had an unforgettable stay at the Kimpton Palomar! The staff welcomed me with genuine warmth, making check-in a breeze and offering personalized touches throughout my visit. The rooms were a perfect blend of modern elegance and comfort, with plush bedding, sleek design, and thoughtful amenities like the in-room coffee and luxe bath products. The daily social hour with complimentary wine was a delightful way to unwind and connect with other guests. The hotel’s prime location made exploring nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions effortless. The on-site dining was exceptional, with fresh, flavorful dishes that elevated every meal. Every detail, from the spotless facilities to the outstanding service, screamed 5-star quality. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

This hotel is for people that want to be City Center, are IHG loyalists, and don't bother seeing what other options are out there. If you are not interested in taking a cab everywhere and want a nice central location, do yourself a favor and check out the Canopy or Hyatt Centric, which are newer hotels. It is extremely old and not refurbished. The hotel's rooms made me feel like I was in a Holiday Inn, at double the price. Would not book this again. Cannot associate your experiences with other Kimpton portfolio hotels as an expectation for this location. The phone in my room had enough dust to clone an army of boomers, the beds baseboards look like they were fabricated with recycled wood, and the walls had so many dents I needed to take pictures of my duffel bag to make sure I was not implicated. Someone also tried to escape through the window and tore the screen. I had accepted the room because I arrived late and didn't want to wait for a new room, and frankly every one that attended the same conference as me used the same hotel block and also had drab room conditions. At least I was on the 23rd floor. Only saving grace was the service that came through excellently through text messaging daily.
