An absolutely fantastic experience from the moment we checked in at reception, where the friendly and welcoming staff greeted us. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The entire venue was immaculately clean. Our room was extremely spacious, spotlessly clean, beds and bathroom were fantastic. The food is of an exceptionally high standard. A special note must go to our waiter in the evening, Aarc. Extremely polite, professional and helpful. A credit to the company. Highly recommend if your looking for somewhere to stay in Bristol

Generously spacious. Prompt maintenance service (had a light out in the bathroom mirror area and was fixed by the time we got back that evening). Friendly staff. Great location. $20 parking per night but felt worth it. The garage is somewhat tight though, just a heads up. Didn't use the gym or eat there but those looked spot on👌 as well. Joined the IHG program and got to sleep in a little more for a late checkout option, would recommend considering!

Spent only one night with family...room was very comfortable as described. Staff were supportive. Breakfast was amazing....and all the restaurant's staff had a high level of hospitality, making us feel at home and getting us all that we needed with a big welcoming smile. I had an issue with the wrong booking through booking app and the reservation team helped resolve the issue with a high level of professionalism. The hotel is perfectly located at the city centre and it's a few min away from all attractions. It will be my 1st hotel selection whenever I visit Bristol

Disappointing based on the reviews. We booked a long weekend for a romantic getaway to see a gig. As a chronically ill, disabled person, finding a wheelchair accessible room can be tricky, and travelogge are often my go to. We tried this place, booked through IHG. The room itself was nicely furnished. However, the IHG booking information wasn't observed by the hotel. We were promised a ground floor room, but ended up on the fourth floor. We also were promised a late check out of 3pm. On every single day of our stay, we lit the "do not disturb sign", and hung the paper one on the door. On arrival, I started having a mild allergic reaction to something. Assuming it was probably feather pillows, we called for hypo allergenic ones. The person who came was very rude and informed us that they were all hypo allergenic. It became apparent that the was a bed bug issue (bugs, bites, and old blood on the sheets that indicate the issue), and likely a reaction to the pesticide used, and I only had a problem with the carpet/soft furnishings. On the first night, we received a phone call just before midnight when we were already in bed, to the toilet phone, stating someone from our room had been to the bar and they needed to clarify something. As no one from our room had been to the bar, I had to confirm the room number, and it turned out they had the wrong room. The manager called the room, and I explained it was fine about the pillows. I did mention that the toilet door was broken, as it was very stiff and wouldn't close without a significant amount of force. My partner is a power lifter and he could manage, but as a disabled person using a disabled toilet, I couldn't. The lock had also been removed, and the toilet flush was broken, but I did say these things were not a problem and we didn't really want to be disturbed and we would make it work. She said she would send Maintenance the next day after 11am. The next morning, house keeping knocked on the door early anyway, despite the signs etc which, would have woken us up. They did the same thing the following day, and asked what time we were leaving (we weren't, we were staying another night). My partner complained to reception, who said that the housekeeping staff didn't speak good English (which doesn't explain why they can't understand a red/green light, or the do not disturb sign), but checked and confirmed a late, 3pm check on the system the following day under the IHG notes. He said it wouldn't happen again. The following day, housekeeping not only knocked on the door, but when we said "no thank you", opened the door anyway and came in, asking "when are you leaving"? When we phoned reception to complain, we were told that the late check out for 3pm was on the IHG system, and it is separate to the Holiday Inn System, and that housekeeping won't come back until 3pm now. He did not apologise. When I pointed out that we had been disturbed every day and had been promised this wouldn't happen, he said that housekeeping need to prepare rooms for guests. Apparently if you book through IHG you are less valued as a guest, and any booking information will not be taken seriously. If you are disabled you are even less important.
