I really enjoyed staying at Eaton Hotel. The hotel is conveniently located in Kowloon near the subway and restaurants. Customer service was impeccable, efficient and quick. I was impressed by the quality and quantity of toiletries offered, the generous number of towels provided and the daily filtered bottles of water were much appreciated. The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable. Would love to stay there again!

I would stay there again and again and again! Fully staff, quick service, sweet housekeeping, front desk are helpful, free coffee from 3-4 pm, complimentary wine but we don’t drink. Love the gym, pool, and food hall! And the community library is a bonus! My friend and I stay for 3 weeks and it is as great! Good job eaton’s management!

Overall my family of five had a great stay at Eaton. We booked the Triple room for my three teens and it was comfortable for them. Tight squeeze, but having three individual beds was great. My other room was The Study with king bed and it was perfect for my husband and I. Lounge on 4th floor was a great way to end the day. Food Hall was great too, but only ate there once. Didn’t make use of the pool as we had rainstorms during our stay in August. Bathrooms are a bit outdated with shower curtains that are a bit smelly. There is wear and tear but nothing that made the stay uncomfortable. Eaton staff are all remarkably helpful, much appreciated. Solid location and lots of places to eat nearby. MRT and bus stops right outside as well. If Jordan is on your map, this is a great spot to consider.

This hotel unfortunately commits an increasingly common vice of prioritising trendiness over comfort or customer service, like it’s too cool to actually be a hotel. It has invested in very stylish common facilities (lobby, food court, presumably bar though we didn’t have a chance to try it), but doesn’t have the hospitality to match it. For the money, you would be better off going to a more old-fashioned hotel that doesn’t skimp on the basics. 1) the pool was closed at every opportunity we had to use it, apparently because of a thunderstorm warning. The thunderstorm in question never eventuated. The pool was a large part of our decision to book at the hotel so this was very disappointing and seemed totally unnecessary. 2) you have to ask for things like slippers, shaving kit, sewing kit etc. I would say providing these things is standard for a four-star hotel and I resent the snarky “forget something? call guest services” copywriting they put in the bathroom in lieu of just providing them. It’s cost cutting with a pretty face. 3) the staff ranged from unhelpful (lift attendants watching passively as the rather brutal elevator doors close in people’s faces) to condescending (god forbid you ask for a glass of water at breakfast). Location is good, lifts are scenic albeit violent, facilities are nice. You will have a pleasant stay, but don’t expect to be treated like a valued guest rather than an imposition.
