I'd love to write a paragraph about how excellent this place was, but I would just keep repeating myself. From the time you walk in the front door, everything is excellent: the vibe, the employees' attitude, the immaculate rooms. I would recommend that you stay here if you are able. The employees are the crowd jewel here, as they were kind, helpful, and generally wonderful.

I was very impressed by the attentive & friendly staff from reception, concierge and the hotel shuttle service. Their impeccable service makes my stay here very enjoyable. Highly recommended! The room size is spacious and clean. Moreover, hotel is so conveniently located beside the shopping malls & train station. I will come back again the next visit .

Quiet place, nice breakfast buffet, very convenient with the MTR so close to get around Hong Kong. Mattress was a bit soft for us but that could be personal preference. Water filter for drinking water was great and very good quality

I would normally give this hotel 4 or even 5 stars, but due to several key issues during our stay, my rating is significantly lower. Let me start with something basic: there was no drinking water provided in the room. The minibar only included soft drinks like Coca-Cola and canned teas. For water, they placed a small filtration device in the room and expect guests to use that. It had no visible filter or sanitation mechanism. While we drank it and thankfully had no health issues, it’s certainly not what I’d expect from a hotel at this level. The breakfast area was freezing cold. They run the air conditioning so strongly that guests are forced to eat wearing jackets and coats. Especially near the end of breakfast hours (e.g., approaching 10 AM), they blast the air conditioning to the point where it feels like a walk-in freezer. As a family traveling with a child, this was very uncomfortable. I even took a photo (with faces blurred for privacy) to show how extreme it was. One reason we booked this hotel was its large lobby with comfortable seating, which looked perfect for working or relaxing. In reality, the entire hotel was freezing. I had to sit in the lobby wearing two jackets, and I was still cold. The main entrance door is constantly left open, making it feel colder inside than it is outside. Still, I had to stay and work there because there was absolutely no proper workspace elsewhere in the hotel. If you’re a business traveler, or someone with skin sensitivity, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The air in the rooms is very dry, which can be irritating. There was also a light odor in the hallways and rooms, but our room had an air freshener which seemed to help. The rooms themselves were clean and spacious, and I appreciated the housekeeping team, door staff, and front desk—they were all helpful. But again, the biggest downside of this hotel is the lack of comfortable space to sit or work. It felt like the hotel was designed for cold rather than comfort. Every floor is a restaurant, which isn’t a problem on its own, but even the restaurants are kept freezing cold. I saw guests trying to enjoy wine or dinner while wearing winter coats indoors—something I genuinely don’t understand. Another issue was during breakfast. A football team was staying at the hotel, and when some of the kids asked for eggs, the kitchen staff seemed annoyed. They prepared the eggs so slowly it felt intentional. I faced a similar situation. When I asked for eggs, the lady at the station kept delaying and started doing other tasks instead. After several minutes, I firmly said, “If you’re not going to make it, just tell me and I’ll leave.” Only then did she start cooking, and it took just 40 seconds. It felt like she was trying to make a point or punish the guest for asking. Maybe people reading this will think I complain about eggs in every hotel—trust me, I don’t. It’s not about eggs; it’s about service, attitude, and professionalism. In summary: The hotel has its strengths—clean rooms, helpful front desk—but the freezing temperatures, lack of guest-friendly spaces, and unprofessional breakfast service ruined the experience for us. If these issues hadn’t occurred, I would have gladly given 4 or 5 stars. But due to everything mentioned above, I’m leaving this as a 1-star review.
