The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort is located on Redang Island, off the north-east coast of Malaysia. Surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of the South China Sea, the island is home to some of the region’s best dive sites and spectacular marine life, including a turtle sanctuary.

The hotel offers a boat transfer (charges apply) from the mainland to Redang Island, departing three times a day from Merang Waterfront Jetty (see here for details). Public ferries are also available. The jetty is approximately a 35-minute drive from Kuala Terengganu (Sultan Mahmud) Airport (TGG), which is just an hour’s flight from Kuala Lumpur. Transfers are not included, please plan accordingly.
