Ticks all the boxes! Great location, friendly staff and comfortable beds at a good price point. The rooms are a little dated but clean and well maintained. Would happily stay again.

From the moment I arrived the team were very helpful. I wasn't able to get into my room straight away as I was to early, but they were very accommodating, giving me a private space to work whilst I waited. The rooms were clean and well presented, and the amenities provided were of great quality. The location was perfect for me, with shops, restaurants, everything nearby. I would recommend staying here, and if I was back in Melbourne, would stay here again.

It's pretty sub-par. Thought it was a bit cheap for a 5 star, but that's because it's like a 3 star in quality. So ended up being too expensive for the quality. I usually stay at a 3 star hotel for half this price and my room is always bigger than the one we got here, and the quality is the exact same. Parking is pretty expensive for a 5 star too. The location is decent. The art is interesting. But the size, quality, and just general vibe is not worth the money in the slightest. We had the tiniest room for $250 a night. Would never be back and would not recommend to a friend.

The climate control seemed to turn off every few hours overnight, so I'd wake up hot and uncomfortable to turn it back on. Having to order toothpaste via room service (even if it's $0) when you just want to go to bed is just a little inconvenient. The shower head was quite low, and the handle to adjust it's height was either seized or had been broken at some point. Each thing on it's own wouldn't be too bad, but it starts to add up into a decision to stay somewhere else next time when you add them all together. The bed was comfortable, the light blocking curtains were great and the staff seemed helpful especially the cleaner/room service guy who was just really polite and helpful.
