The Intrepid Hotel is located in the Te Aro neighbourhood, on vibrant Ghuznee Street, offering easy access to a compelling mix of boutique shopping, popular cafés and great dining options. The famed Cuba Street is a stone’s throw away, while the waterfront and its attractions are a five-minute walk. The hotel is located approximately a 15-minute drive from Wellington International Airport (WLG). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

The Intrepid Hotel offers a central urban escape, where industrial luxury, forward-thinking technology and exceptional comfort effortlessly combine to create an unforgettable experience that redefines the perfect home base for exploring Wellington. Originally built in 1909 as a factory for the iconic Cadbury Brothers, and since housing various restaurants and retail businesses, this four-story heritage building has recently undergone three years of refurbishments, opening for the first time as a hotel.
From the minds behind craft beer bar Golding’s Free Dive, natural wine bar (and onsite haunt) The Puffin, award-winning restaurant Shepherd and the 138-room The Park Hotel, The Intrepid Hotel perfectly fills a boutique gap in the Wellington market.
