Tanjong Jara Resort

Tanjong Jara Resort is set along the coastline of Terengganu in Malaysia, surrounded by tropical gardens and the crystal-clear waters of the South China Sea. The resort’s idyllic location allows guests to explore nearby traditional fishing villages and the famous Kenyir Lake.

The hotel is located approximately a 90-minute drive from Sultan Mahmud Airport (TGG). Airport transfers are included in select packages, please contact the hotel directly to arrange.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges.

Please Note:

• Dining inclusions do not include drinks (unless otherwise stated). Menus are subject to change without notice.
• Daily buffet breakfast is served at Di Atas Sungei from 7am to 10:30am.
• Daily lunch is served at Nelayan from 12pm to 3pm.
• Daily dinner is served at Di Atas Sungei from 6:30pm to 10:30pm.
• Free-flow drinks hour is at Teratai Terrace from 3pm to 4pm and includes house wine, beer and soft drinks.
• Spa treatments take place at Spa Village Tanjong Jara. Advanced reservation is required. Guests must be a minimum age of 16 years to access Spa Village Tanjong Jara.
• Turtle Kids’ Club is open daily from 1 March to 20 September, from 11am to 4pm.
• Daily Sucimurni stretching class takes place at 8am in the hotel lobby. Advance reservation is required.
• The Jara Hill walk and herbal garden visit takes place every day except Sunday, departing the hotel lobby at 9:30am. Duration is approximately one hour.

Return Private Airport Transfers Inclusions & Fine Print

• Includes: A return private airport transfer, basic/sufficient English-speaking driver, airport parking fee, toll fee and one bottle of water per person.
• You will be emailed an online form to book your date and time within one to two days of purchase. Keep an eye out for an email from luxuryescapes@icstravel.com.

• Rates are per car, one way.
• A three-passenger car can fit three pieces of luggage. A six-passenger car can fit six pieces of luggage.
• An infant seat can be booked free of charge per seat, each way or guests may bring their own.
