Nestled on the western coast of Raratonga, the largest of the Cook Islands, Sunset Resort Raratonga is a stone’s throw away from the pristine Aroa Beach and the Te Rua Manga mountain peak. A 15-minute drive will bring you to the island’s capital, Avarua. The hotel is located approximately a 10-minute drive from Rarotonga International Airport (RAR). Roundtrip airport transfers are included in your package, please contact the resort to arrange.

Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. - Breakfast is served at Anchorage Restaurant and Bar from 7.30am to 10am.
- The included dinner is served at 6pm at Anchorage Restaurant and Bar.
- Dinner can either be a roast buffet or a BBQ buffet.
- Guests are invited to be seated from 5:45pm for a traditional ‘Pure’ (blessing of the food) before the buffet commences.
- The garden swimming pool will be closed for renovations from 25 November 2023 to 17 December 2023.
- Guests are advised to bring their own snorkelling equipment as this is not provided by the resort.
- The Birdcage Bar is open daily from mid-afternoon to early evening.
- Punangi Nui Market is open on Saturday only.
- Complimentary Wi-Fi is limited to 5GB per person, per package.
- On arrival, guests will be greeted by a Sunset Resort Raratonga transfer driver with a flower lei.
- Transfers will take place in an air-conditioned coach.
- A roundtrip transfer to a church service is also available every Sunday.
