Very convenient valet parking. The nearby parking lot costs almost the same, so it's better to use the hotel's service.

I booked this hotel due to it it’s rank as a 5 star. And i honestly have no idea how it has this ranking. The AC in the rooms seems to not work okay. Adjusted the temperature multiple times to 73 and it stayed at 77 the whole night and woke up drenched in swear. The lobby wasn’t what i expected. Very small no place to sit or hang out if you have friends with you. They do offer coffee and tea in the morning in the lobby which was nice. And refreshments in the afternoon. The lady who was working overnight was very rude. Tried to ask for something and she didn’t even utter a word and she just went grabbed it and gave it to me. At least say you’re welcome when i say thank you? But the guy who checked us in was extremely nice. If you are looking for a view from your window this isn’t the place for it fyi. Overall would i stay there again? Probably not. Because the price isn’t for this quality.

Mixed Experience at Sofitel Washington DC The Sofitel benefits from an excellent location — many major sights and good restaurants are within walking distance or easily reached by Uber or taxi. The rooms are nicely designed, though it’s noticeable that some minor but necessary maintenance has been neglected over time. The fitness room was a disappointment: several machines were out of order, and the wall clock had clearly been broken for a while — signs of a lack of basic upkeep. The staff was professional and courteous, though interactions felt more formal than genuinely warm. Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by a serious issue: we experienced bed bugs and were left with extensive bites. While housekeeping changed the bedding after we reported it, we were not offered a new room. In hindsight, I may have addressed the matter too politely, but I was left with the impression that the incident wasn’t taken as seriously as it should have been. Lastly, some of the restaurant recommendations given by the front desk were underwhelming — we ended up relying on our own research instead. Overall, the hotel has potential and some clear strengths, but the experience fell short of expectations, especially given the brand and price point.
