The highlight of our trip was definitely our stay at Sofitel in the water bungalow. It was absolutely magical and beautiful in every way, and far beyond our expectations. We truly didn’t want to leave! The peacefulness of the bungalow and the stunning views and water color made for a memorable experience. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always going out of their way to make us feel welcome. We also did the jet ski tour, which was so much fun and a fantastic way to explore the area. The grounds were lush and well-maintained, creating a serene atmosphere for our stay. However, there were a few areas that could use some attention. The pool and bar areas, in particular, seemed to need a bit of love and care. It was clear that some parts of the facilities could use some updating to match the beauty of the surroundings. Another thing to note was the dining options—while we enjoyed our meals, we were a bit disappointed that the evening dining experiences were mainly buffets or 5-7 course meals. The bar menu was also quite limited, which was a bit of a letdown given the overall luxury of the resort. Despite these small drawbacks, we would absolutely return and look forward to another unforgettable stay at Sofitel.

Our experience at the Sofitel was magical. Impeccable service, delicious food, and the best snorkeling of our trip was right under our bungalow. Laetitia and Levaiti were both extremely kind and helpful throughout our entire stay, they really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We highly recommend this gorgeous and romantic hotel, especially for a honeymoon or anniversary. It was everything we hoped for and more.

Sofitel had great ambience and vibe. We loved the traditional Tahitian touches of the villas and snorkeling off the beach was simply amazing. The bed was the most comfortable one throughout our trip. Amazing dinner at K restaurant. The pearls at the shop were one of the best quality ones. Our stay was super chill and relaxing and we would love to come back

We really enjoyed our overwater bungalow experience. Snorkeling was amazing. Paid for the luxury bungalow which was very private. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. Would have appreciated some wine, not just sodas & beer in the included mini bar. Appreciated the bottle of champagne even though the note was addressed to some other guest. We found the restaurant food mediocre, staff friendly. Disappointed to witness a bar staff employee using the washroom and exiting without washing her hands! Yikes. Perhaps management should consider a hygiene meeting? Overall, not inexpensive but a mostly wonderful experience.
