The best thing about this hotel is the location in the city, everything else is mediocre and outdated. I would not recommend staying here. Corridors smell strongly of cigarettes. Pool was ok but nothing too amazing. Breakfast was good with many options and friendly waiters. This hotel feels more like a three or four star hotel. Not worth of your money. Just to get clean towels, I had to wait over an hour and call the reception three times.

The hotel must have been great when it just opened - since it doesn't seem like they have done much to keep it up. In particular the rooms are very dated. The location is good, central, next to hamma garden and right in between the airport and the old town. Some of the staff (particularly the younger servers) were great, others (particularly the elder receptionists) rude and dismissive. Overall, it is by a stretch the most expensive hotel in Algiers, but the cost really isn't justified.
