While the resort’s seclusion is one of its main attractions, it’s only approximately a 20-minute drive to downtown Muscat. The hotel is located approximately a 40-minute drive from Muscat International Airport (MCT). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

One of the finest property in Muscat . Everything is just perfect . Special thanks to Mr Dev Kalwani and Chef Mr Murthy for taking such good care for our breakfast and my infant’s food . Thanks to the whole team. From our check in to check out everything was A++ .

We stayed in Al Bandar as a family of four from London over the Easter holidays. The property itself is in a beautiful location nestled amongst the mountains, the drive to and from was an experience. Service standards were high and staff were always happy to help. Shout out to the pool guy! We enjoyed using the several pools and never felt that it was overcrowded. Poolside menu/ room service was quick and there was a wide choice of dishes to choose from. Rooms are a bit dated, however bed is huge and rooms are cleaned well. Tips There is a 24hr clinic/Dr on site. Ground floor rooms will give direct and easy access via patio to pools/beach. There is a shuttle bus that takes you to the mall and souk. It can get busy so pre book seats. We never used it as we loved the hotel! Not much else close by to the hotel, therefore useful to have your own car incase you need to leave. (We ran out of baby wipes!) Overall a wonderful stay, thank you.

-Very pleasant hotel with excellent facilities. -As it's quite isolated, it's a bit difficult to organize activities and eat outside without a vehicle. -The entire staff is very pleasant and dedicated. A big thank you, among others, to Den at the reception desk, who is charming and always ready to help. In short, even if everything wasn't perfect, we were satisfied with our stay and our experience was very positive.

I have been a loyal annual guest at this hotel for years, but unfortunately, the quality of service has been getting worse every year. This stay was by far the most disappointing: • Service: Extremely poor and nowhere near a true 5-star standard. • Food Quality: Very bad and lacks variety or freshness. • Value for Money: Absolutely not worth the price paid, and I deeply regret my stay. Sadly, this will be my last time staying here. The hotel has gone from bad to worse, and I cannot recommend it to anyone.
