The property is just under an hour’s drive from Kingscote Airport (KGC), which can also be reached via a 30-minute flight from Adelaide Airport (ADL). Alternatively, Kangaroo Island can be accessed by a 45-minute ferry from Cape Jervis to Penneshaw. Transfers from the on-island terminal are included.

Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. • Dining inclusions do not include drinks (unless otherwise stated). Menus are subject to change without notice.
• Daily breakfast will be served in the onsite restaurant from 6.30am until 9am.
• The nightly two-course set menu dinner will be served in the onsite restaurant from 6pm until 8.30pm.
• Dining includes a selection of local Kangaroo Island and South Australian beverages, including beer, wine, cider and non-alcoholic options. Drinks are served on an unlimited basis from the bar during dinner dining hours of 6pm to 8.30pm.
• Seafood Platter: Luxuriate in a fresh seasonal seafood platter served in the onsite restaurant once throughout your stay, which may include lobster or marron, prawns, oysters, mussels, pickled octopus or calamari and smoked fish. Enjoy this chilled platter with homemade condiments and fresh bread while dining in the onsite restaurant.
• Scheduled transfers to and from Sea Dragon operate twice daily for the Penneshaw Ferry and meet all incoming and outgoing flights. For times outside of select ferries, surcharges may apply. On the occasion of small groups with earlier arrival times, there may be an exception to meet earlier ferry times with confirmation from the reservation team required beforehand. Transfers are from the on-island terminal only; transfers do not include ferry/flight. To book the transfers, guests should contact info@seadragonkangarooisland.com.

• Your Kangaroo Island Tours will be arranged on arrival and you will be provided details of your guide and pick-up date and time.

Half-day Taste of Kangaroo Island Tour:

• The half-day tour departs at approximately 9am and will be shared with up to 10 guests. The tour will end with a return to Sea Dragon Kangaroo Island at approximately 3pm.
• Locations covered by the tour can include KI Spirits, with a distillery tour including gin sampling and lunch, Cliffords Honey Farm, KI Olives, Emu Ridge Distillery and Petite Provence.
• The itinerary may change depending on the time of year, seasonal produce, operating hours and other operational factors.

Full-day Kangaroo Island Nature Tour:

• The full-day nature tour departs at approximately 9am and will be shared with up to 10 guests. The tour will end with a return to Sea Dragon Kangaroo Island at approximately 5.30pm.
• Locations covered by the tour can include Seal Bay Conservation Park, Flinders Chase National Park, the Remarkable Rocks, Cape Du Couedic Lighthouse, and Admirals Arch, with lunch provided. On the way back, there will be a swim at one of the many beaches (temperatures permitting) or a short walk.
• The itinerary may change depending on time of year, seasonal produce, operating hours and other operational factors.
• The tour provider recommends bringing a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, 1.5-litre water bottle, walking shoes, swimwear, towel, and camera. Moderate fitness levels are recommended as there will be plenty of walking and an optional swim.
