Hidden Gem for Families Near Jakarta! We just came back from the most amazing weekend getaway — and it’s only a short drive from Jakarta! This resort is a true hidden gem for families. The surroundings are peaceful, the facilities are well-designed for kids and parents alike, and everything is kept super clean and comfortable. What really made our stay memorable was the staff — every single person we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely made us feel at home. It’s rare to find this kind of hospitality so close to the city. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape without the long travel, this is the place. We’re already planning our next visit!

Pullman Ciawi Vimala Hills Resort was the first place host us in Indonesia Puncak. Our first impression and experience really was amazing after long flight since we entered the lobby. The amazing & beautiful gardening design of the tropical trees with details aligned with modern architecture, gives you great opportunities for taking photos, gives you hints how Indonesia is really beautiful. The warm welcoming & professionalism of every crew member & the strong security, reflection of their commitment & hospitality integration, of course with the welcoming special tropical & traditional drink. Our room is equipped with big comfy luxurious bed & modern internal decoration, everything is ordered & clean, with all amenities. Highly recommended for such cost price. The restaurant was great since it is better to include breakfast & never miss it because of the delicious varieties of food options with the pool the view of the restaurant. The Spa. We have booked 90 mints Spa session. It is professional releasing all the stress with final honey or ginger tea. Recommended! The Pools are like pods well gardened maintained great to have fun. We allocated one day at the resort enjoying the pool with our kid. The Photo session Desk. Honestly, very disappointing. This hotel may carry a five-star label, but the service—especially from the sales/hospitality team—is nowhere near five-star quality. If you’re considering this place for a corporate event or company function, I would strongly advise against it. From the start, the coordination process was a struggle. The sales team was slow to respond, lacked clear communication, and showed very little initiative. We came in as a corporate client with a clear brief and timeline, but instead of being treated professionally, we felt like we were constantly chasing them just to get basic answers. Even when issues arose, there was no urgency to resolve them. Instead of taking ownership, they passed the responsibility around with minimal effort to provide solutions. It’s honestly shocking coming from a hotel that’s supposed to uphold high hospitality standards. To be fair, the facilities might be acceptable for personal stays, but for anything business-related—completely not worth the headache. There are many other hotels with far more responsive and professional teams who actually understand what corporate clients need.
