This hotel is great! Good location with walking distance to town, helpful and friendly staff, room (suites for 2 persons) is well designed, heater at every area, big sliding door for the mountain view, heated towel rods. The breakfast has wide variety and good quality food. Highly recommend!

We stayed for two nights. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the beds were very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. The property is strategically located right across the street from Lake Tekapo, offering beautiful views. We experienced a minor issue with the heating, but the staff were very helpful and promptly brought us a portable heater on a cold evening. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Been here twice, first time I had the cheapest room which was super small and the second time I got a free upgrade and the room was a lot more spacious. The bathroom was a good size, but the shower had mold both times. The location is great though. Very walkable to the lake and restaurants. Plus the restaurant on site has good food and service. Tons of free parking.

The stay at Peppers was the only bad thing about the entire trip in New Zealand. We booked the 2 bedroom suite which can accommodate 5 people as per the site. The booking was done for the family, 2 adults and 2 kids. To my surprise, when we checked in the suite had only 1 bathroom. The same was not clearly specified anywhere in the booking. How can you even imagine that an after booking a 2 bedroom suit you will end up with just one bathroom to share. In terms of food, the hotel does not have any proper service and alternate. They close the kitchen early as 9:00 PM and there is no room service as well post such time. We reached the Peppers at 8:45 PM and after travelling for several hrs were very disappointed to learn that the hotel cannot serve any food . New Zealand primarily close the restaurants early so when we visit / book a hotel we expect the hotel to have some service for the guest arriving at odd hrs. They also take tour booking and when some tour group comes in, they close the only one available dining restaurant to entertain the tour groups with no consideration for the in house guest . For Breakfast, they serve the buffet on charge but the attitude is if they are doing some great favour by serving the breakfast. Ordered some fried eggs and the eggs never came. Finally had to leave without having the eggs. Overall apart from the convenience of the location of the hotel, there is nothing good about the place.
