Let’s be honest. When you book a trip to Park City, you expect mountains, crisp air, and maybe a nice lobby. What I didn’t expect at the Pendry Park City was to feel like I’d accidentally checked into a private resort where everyone was pre-programmed to be my best friend. From the moment I crossed the threshold, which, by the way, smelled faintly of cedar and expensive ambition, I knew this wasn’t going to be a standard hotel stay. The real stars of the Pendry show are the humans, who are either incredibly well-trained or genuinely delightful humans, I suspect both. Every single staff member, from the bellman to the concierge, was nothing short of attentive. Incredibly welcoming is an understatement. They don’t just open doors; they look you in the eye, smile, and make you feel like you’ve just won a minor lottery. It’s the kind of service that borders on witchcraft, the good kind, powered by genuine hospitality. If you’re having a bad day, just stand near the front desk. They’ll fix it. An area that needs no fixing are the rooms. They are, simply put, enormous. I had enough space in my well-appointed abode to perform some daily stretches and yoga, though I settled for laying all my clothes out in a neat grid just because I could. The design is mountain chic without being overly rustic, think exposed wood that feels warm, not log cabin, paired with marble bathrooms that practically beg you to take a two-hour bath. Everything felt intentional, from the buttery-soft linens to the thoughtfully placed outlets. It was less a hotel room and more a spacious, luxurious sanctuary designed specifically to make you forget the outside world exists. Outside of my personal fortress of solitude, the amenities were, well, fantastic. The rooftop pool and bar area felt like something airlifted from Miami and dropped onto a perfect Utah mountaintop, a brilliant juxtaposition. The food and beverage options also deserve a standing ovation. We’re talking beyond standard hotel fare. Whether I was grabbing a quick, expertly crafted cocktail or settling in for a proper meal, the quality was consistently high. The coffee shop was strong enough to wake the dead, and the dinner spots in the area were good enough to make me consider moving to Park City just to have it closer. On the professional side of things (because, yes, I did technically work a little), the meeting space proved to be an excellent, brightly lit habitat for small to medium-sized gatherings. We had a team onsite there, and the setup was seamless. A productive day was had by all, mostly because we were terrified of disappointing the cheerful staff. Now, for the big confession, the elephant in the snowless room: I visited during the off-season. The weather was lovely, the hiking was great, but I looked longingly at the slopes and the absolute, pristine perfection of the location. With a shiny new chair lift literally right outside the door, set to open in the glorious 2025-2026 season, the Pendry’s ski-in/ski-out potential isn’t just good, it’s outstanding. I already regret not experiencing the full glory of shredding down the mountain and then, two minutes later, being horizontal on a leather couch with a hot toddy. So, here’s the summary: If you enjoy being pampered, sleeping like a baby in a mansion-sized room, and eating great food while having the nicest people on earth cater to your every whim, then book the Pendry Park City. If you like to float on Olympic standard runs book it for ski season. I’m already checking my calendar.

Our stay at The Pendry was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we arrived, the valet service was incredibly attentive, always making sure we had waters. The shuttle service to town was super convenient. A huge shoutout to Justin at the front desk for being so helpful, and to Diego for taking our bags to our room, as well as all our friendly shuttle drivers. We were celebrating our honeymoon and were thrilled with a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful, huge suite – it was even more comfortable than home! They also surprised us with champagne and delicious desserts, which was such a thoughtful touch. The hotel's location is fantastic, with great on-site restaurants (we wish we had time for them all!). Valet parking was much easier and more affordable than we expected for the summer. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved the complimentary s'mores each evening, it was such a fun activity! Plus, there's so much action around the hotel with concerts, restaurants, and a gondola ride. We had the best time and can't wait to return!

We stayed at the Pendry a few weeks ago (summer) and were blown away by the experience, even without the snow. The hotel staff is top-notch and consistently goes out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The location is excellent. You're just steps from great hiking and close to the slopes. Once the new Sunrise gondola is complete, you'll be able to go straight up the mountain from the hotel, which will be a huge bonus during ski season. There are plenty of shopping and dining options nearby, and the hotel makes getting around easy with complimentary transportation to Main Street and cars available to borrow if needed. Beautiful atmosphere, great service, and everything you'd want in a luxury mountain stay. Highly recommend. I’m already looking forward to coming back in the winter.

We enjoyed our stay at the Pendry — the property is beautiful, the rooms are stylish and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We visited in the off season, so the vibe felt a little quiet and subdued, but I can imagine it’s a fantastic place to stay during ski season when everything is in full swing. Would love to come back and experience it then!
