Lydia at the pool had made us special request mocktails to help celebrate my birthday and baby moon! Antonio has been amazing assisting with ensuring the tea party was booked for birthday, checking in on our stay while we hung by the pool, and overall provided great service. David at the concierge desk made the beginning of stay super special with sending up some chamomile tea to enjoy and relax during the evening. He also provided super great recommendations for fun activities and restaurants.

Beautiful old hotel that has a lot of potential. I will agree with the others that the rooms can use some updating. There is definitely a smell in the room, even though it does appear clean. Great location and staff is super friendly and accommodating. Very kid friendly with a kids room and activities geared towards children. Eva and David at the concierge were extremely helpful in booking tours and obtaining the best prices.

Okay. If the staff were just normal and just did their jobs and didn’t go above and beyond, I’d of gave this place 1/2 star. But they were awesome! From the moment we checked in. Our kids loved it. Never saw a hotel with a kid zone. Pool was awesome. BUT hotel would’ve been the best I ever visited had the rooms been better. And I think they should put equal effort in cleanliness as customer service. Our room had a musty (possibly mold) smell and other guest mentioned the same issue in the elevator. Someone came up a to a manager while we spoke with them to show bug bites all on their arms. Our toilet was hissing the entire stay. Ice bucket had stains and a some items in the bathroom had old toothpaste on it 🤢. I know it’s an older hotel, but it’s beautiful. Rooms just need more attention.

The hotel was great, the pool was fabulous, and MOST of the staff was amazing. David the concierge was so cool and a wealth of information. The low score comes from the front desk staff and our MOLDY room. Our family of 4 with a 6 and 4 year old children were only there for a weekend as we had business in town. At first glance the room was a bit dated but nice. It had a mild musty smell but I didn't give it a second thought after the day of work and evening flight we were ready to crash into bed. The next morning my kids were playing and one of them hit the baseboard causing it to dislodge exposing a large swath of black mold underneath. Then as I took a shower I noticed the wallpaper lifting by the tub and found that it was absolutely floor to ceiling moldy! Armed with the photos of this i went to the front desk asking to be moved to a different room for our last evening and was told first not to worry I wouldn't be CHARGED for the kids damage to the baseboard!! I tried to explain that wasn't the issue at hand and finally decided I would speak to someone else and left the front desk. The second attempt was dome by my wife who was told that there was a room we could be moved to but it was a single bed! The 4 of us wouldn't be able to sleep in one bed, as we have a steamroller of a 4 year old. So final outcome was we stayed in the room again AFTER that mold had been disturbed and it was the WRONG decision! Both kids have had a night cough ever since...🙄 As we were checking out there was a different receptionist that seemed concerned about our complaints and took all of our information however we have yet to have anyone reach out to us. They did comp our extra room charges ( a movie and bottle of bubbly) ....
