Extremely Disappointed – Serious Security Issue at Omni Hotel Our stay at the Omni Hotel on Friday, September 19, 2025, was ruined by a serious security breach. Someone broke into my brother-in-law’s hotel room and stole a backpack containing our car rental keys, a work laptop, personal keys, and other valuables. We immediately reported the incident to both hotel security and the local police. What’s truly unacceptable is that the hotel claimed they have no surveillance cameras in the area — something that’s shocking for a property of this caliber. In today’s world, that’s not just irresponsible, it’s dangerous. The lack of security measures, combined with minimal support from hotel staff after such a serious incident, makes it clear that guest safety is not a priority here. Yes, the property is beautiful — but looks mean nothing when your personal belongings can be stolen from a locked hotel room with no accountability or way to investigate. I strongly urge anyone considering staying here to think twice. Until Omni takes real steps to improve security and guest protection, this hotel is not a safe or trustworthy place to stay.
