What is this society coming to...Is it absolutely necessary to have a TV in the elevator?? Do I need to know what's going on with Puff Daddy before reaching my room?? The Omni Hotel in Providence Lobby is one of the most spectacularly welcoming and pleasant guest experiences you could ask for. The front desk clerks are especially professional and friendly. I especially want to thank the elder Ethiopian Gentleman who not only showed me to my room but was kind enough to get me Ice and bring me water which was missing from the room. It's connection to the mall, the restaurants within and surrounding the hotel, as well as the downtown shops, art and nightlife make it's location perfect. My only complaint is that the coffee maker was broken and it took a few phone calls before it was finally replaced. It's a bit pricey but in the end worth it.

We had my daughters wedding at the Omni, all I can say is outstanding...from the food to the hotel rooms, everything was absolutely amazing. Colleen the hotels catering sales manager and her staff did an awesome job attending to my daughters every need. The ballroom was absolutely stunning. Everyone was raving about the food, top notch all around. So glad we picked the Omni for the wedding.

Two-night stay at the end of July 2025. Very good gym. A very friendly but impersonal welcome. This leaves a good initial impression, but we realize afterward that it's purely commercial. The first night, everything was fine, the room clean and very pleasant. During the night, the boulevard was very busy with a lot of noise from cars and especially motorcycles accelerating suddenly. The next day, after a day in Newport (Cliffwalk, the best!!!), we returned around 7 p.m.: the room was a total mess, the bed unmade, the pillow on the floor, the bathroom untidy. We went to reception to report the situation. The receptionist talked us into it, saying that everything was normal and that cleaning could be done at any time of the day... We didn't comment, but we were clearly aware that she was making fun of us. She assured us that the cleaning would be done as soon as possible. We then went out to buy dinner. When we returned 45 minutes later, nothing had been done... We had to eat our meal in the hotel lobby... Not great for an establishment that claims to be of good standing...

I stayed this past weekend for 1 night to see a comedy show. First thing, location was unbeatable. I was a 5min walk to the theater. The service was great. They were very responsive and earlier than they said they would be for room service. The room itself gets a mix review. I stayed in a king with balcony. The room size was fine and the balcony was relaxing. The bathroom was clean and large. The shower was killer(that's good)! The only reason it's not getting 5 is because I thought it was a little out of date with some decor and the 2 chairs for sitting looked stained. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it for a stay.
