I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel and had a very positive experience overall. While I had seen prior reviews mentioning sewage odors, we encountered no such issue during our stay. We arrived ahead of check-in time—fully understanding that early check-in is not guaranteed—but were grateful the staff was able to accommodate us. The hotel was clean, and our room was lovely. I appreciated thoughtful touches like the sea turtle room number plaques, which added charm and character. The pool setup was also well designed, with a larger main pool featuring a splash pad for children and a separate adult pool. We spent most of our time at the adult pool and were impressed when staff came around offering complimentary popsicles—small gestures like that show a real commitment to guest satisfaction. I also made use of the fitness center and was glad to find it kept at a comfortable temperature, which made for a great workout. Overall, this was a very enjoyable stay. That said, it's worth noting that the pricing is on the high side. We booked with points, but the standard rate was $750 per night for a regular room, which feels steep—even by Hilton Head standards. Another area for improvement is the parking situation; the lot was tight and lacked sufficient space for the number of guests. Despite those two drawbacks, we had a great experience and would definitely consider returning.

Went there for a second time years apart for a similarly themed Seminar. First time stayed with the fam. This time went solo. Not many true Oceanfront properties as Hotels located on Hilton Head Island, SC. This is one of the few. And it's a good one. Great burgers and boozy shakes available poolside or inside dining. The service was great, the food on-site adequate. Would recommend eating off property like Black Marlin Bayside Grill or venture off island to Captain Woody's for lunch in Bluffton nearby. The vibe of this property is slightly Carribean with soft background reggae music playing throughout the property's common walking areas. Nice touch. Tropical landscaping with fountain. Would stay and revisit.

My husband and I stayed here for our mini-honeymoon post wedding and had a very nice time. The room was nice and spacious, the only complaint would be the A/C not cooling that well, and the bathroom not having ventilation/an exhaust fan, which made the room hotter at times. We thought the food at the Palmetto market was great (had that for breakfast one day). The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we really loved having the “adults only” pool option. The hotel is truly oceanfront, and we loved having the beach only a short walk away, the beach was beautiful! I will say there were some surprise fees at check in (we booked directly on omni website) which caught us off guard and were slightly annoying. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again!

The rooms are clean and spacious with a good view, do not book the ocean view room unless you want a view of the parking lot and a little ocean in the background. They have a per day $40 service charge for the amenities which were not mentioned before. Bike rentals were included in our package booking and they never mentioned it to us even after asking what was included in our package, so we never used that service. The pool service gets very slow after 5 pm and when they are hosting weddings which was all 3 nights we were there. They didn’t come to clean our room twice and I had to call them to come clean the room which was at 8pm. That’s an inconvenience. The private beach had debris all over which was not cleaned by the staff. They should take care of that like other resorts with private beach access does. All in all a pleasant stay but with their $40 service charge per day they sure need to improve their service especially room cleaning staff. They also should provide more clear information on what recreational activities are included in the room packages.
