Absolutely great resort. Friendly staff, luxurious facilities. Food and drinks are top notch. Thank you to all the staff who go out of their way to make sure you’re enjoying your stay and feel comfortable. Contests by the pool are a really fun touch. Beachfront access and cleanliness is prime. Very family friendly with 3 pools so adults can have their own if needed. Shout out to Tyrone and the Bouy. Well done, Sir.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel and had a very positive experience overall. While I had seen prior reviews mentioning sewage odors, we encountered no such issue during our stay. We arrived ahead of check-in time—fully understanding that early check-in is not guaranteed—but were grateful the staff was able to accommodate us. The hotel was clean, and our room was lovely. I appreciated thoughtful touches like the sea turtle room number plaques, which added charm and character. The pool setup was also well designed, with a larger main pool featuring a splash pad for children and a separate adult pool. We spent most of our time at the adult pool and were impressed when staff came around offering complimentary popsicles—small gestures like that show a real commitment to guest satisfaction. I also made use of the fitness center and was glad to find it kept at a comfortable temperature, which made for a great workout. Overall, this was a very enjoyable stay. That said, it's worth noting that the pricing is on the high side. We booked with points, but the standard rate was $750 per night for a regular room, which feels steep—even by Hilton Head standards. Another area for improvement is the parking situation; the lot was tight and lacked sufficient space for the number of guests. Despite those two drawbacks, we had a great experience and would definitely consider returning.

Overall a pleasant experience here! Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious but could use some renovating as the bathrooms were a bit outdated. I enjoyed the fact that you could take a shuttle anywhere within 3 miles of the hotel. I also enjoyed the various places you could get food/drinks at the hotel and my kids thoroughly enjoyed the snow cone area. Cons: the housekeeping staff could definitely improve, more staff needed. They came most days at 4 pm which is definitely too late! An inconvenience as we were typically in the room by then so we would just ask for new towels and not have them clean the entire room. Also, the beaches had a lot of sticks and other debris that washed up from the ocean which is unusual that they were not being raked/cleaned by the staff. Every other beach we’ve been to the debris was taken care of by the hotel. Hopefully these changes can be made since it’s definitely a more expensive hotel to stay at, but overall an enjoyable place to stay!

Mixed feelings about this place. The lobby was nice, check-in was fine (although our room wasn't ready for early check-in which we paid extra for, so they refunded it) the halls are all open-air, which I'm not a fan of because it leads to mold in the humid climate, but I guess it saves them money. The Palmetto market food was good but it reeks of overused frying oil in there and they need better ventilation. The beach was nice, but chairs will cost you as the hotel doesn't provide them for their guests, unfortunately. When we were coming back up from the beach we grabbed our towels and were getting up when a girl from the shore beach group came and asked me if I wouldn't mind taking 2 other towels up with me to toss since we were going up there...? Asking a guest to carry/ throw away another guest's towels? Not appropriate whatsoever. The food at HH prime for breakfast was very good and the hostess was sharp and helpful. The room was nice but they only give you one little bar of soap and not enough towels to begin with. The shuttle they provide is nice to have but it only goes in a 3 miles radius so it doesn't reach several places we wanted to visit. I'd give the place 3.8 stars overall.
