We spent a long time choosing a hotel and don’t regret our choice for a second. The hotel is modern and beautifully designed. The staff are very friendly and pleasant. Inam from the beach house was especially attentive, as well as the guy handing out towels (sorry I didn’t catch your name).

Hotel is great, specially for families. For us as a couple we liked but believed is more family oriented. The gym is great. It’s good it has an adult area and pool. Few things we didn’t like so much it was that from our room corner suite on the south part we could here the music and was extremely loud and couldn’t sleep. Humidity smell in the rooms could be improved. Tv was not working properly and missed a smart tv a bit more modern. Staff was mostly nice.

Had a great time at the hotel. Thank you to all the personnel that was very friendly and ready to help. I would like to especially thank a beach attendant Sam who helped us to choose our beach chairs, organized everything for us and checked in during the day to make sure everything was going well. Had a very good impression of such professional people at the hotel! Will definitely come back.

I initially had a very pleasant impression of Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island. The property is beautiful, and the staff seemed friendly. However, my stay was overshadowed by an incident that raised concerns: I was provided with spoiled bottled water in my room. The bottle of water had a strong foul odor which is not felt when you drink it,but you can feel the smell of the bottle, that is posing a health risk anyway I had given this water to my 4-year-old child and was very worried about potential poisoning. I asked the staff for medicine to prevent any health issues. The manager only gave me a pharmacy business card, telling me I would have to pay for anything myself, and said that “most likely nothing will happen to us,” while they will check the water. No compensation or meaningful action was offered. This experience is unacceptable for a five-star hotel and I am very dissapointed with it. Be aware and check properly the smell of drinking water before you drink it. I will update this review when I receive a response from the hotel regarding the water sample analysis and the measures they have taken if i have any and how the managers react on the concerns of their guest. Update: after this review, managers called me and promised that they had checked the water. We also received complementary sweets and fruits. It would be good if such reactions happen promptly and staff take care of water quality before it is delivered to guests’ rooms.
