Friendly, helpful staff, in a location that is a quick walk into the city center to access shops, restaurants and bars. But if you don't want to leave the hotel the restaurant has great food.

Super comfy bed, dark and quiet room, with amazing views. Everything you can ask for in a hotel. Easy walk to city and restaurants. The big call out was the team at Movenpick Hotel Wellington. Everyone was so accomodating. A special call out to John at front desk, he went beyond to make my stay exceptional. Highly recommend, will be my preferred hotel of choice everytime I travel to Wellington for business.

I truly enjoyed the experience at Mövenpick Hotel Wellington. The room was stylish yet cozy, with everything I needed readily available. The location was perfect -- right in between the vibrant city central and the quieter hillside suburbs. I especially enjoyed the Chocolate Hour -- what a treat for the guests! I used the sauna and swimming pool too, which were both maintained at immaculate condition. The spread of breakfast buffet and dinner menu options were great too, and you got to enjoy your meals with fantastic views from the restaurant!

Service was amazing. All of the staff we very friendly, kind and attentive which really makes a big difference to me The manager really made an effort to help us retain my husbands wedding ring which fell down a drain pipe in the bathroom after him taking it off before going into the sauna. He came up to our room with tools to try and retrieve it from the pipe and had to reach into an awkward position. We really appreciated his efforts and his kindness. The beds were super comfortable - I could have stayed in bed all day. Pool and spa - lovely and clean. Gym - really decent! - I was expecting it to be smaller. Super clean and enough equipment to have a good workout. I loved how the wellness area was open till 11pm too. The only downside was that the room was very small which was expected for the city centre.
