Mercure Saga Karatsu Resort

I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the exceptional help and genuine service provided by your staff during my family's two-night stay. I misplaced the key for our rented car near the parking lot in front of the main lobby the night before my. Upon checking out the next morning, I realized the key was missing, which caused us significant distress as it threatened to halt our entire travel itinerary. I immediately sought assistance from the front desk. Mr. T. Pawan and Ms. I. Miki demonstrated immediate professionalism and empathy. They not only listened attentively but also proactively contacted relevant departments and arranged for surveillance footage to be reviewed to aid in the search. Simultaneously, the three cleaning ladies on the floor (whose names I regrettably did not manage to get) actively searched our room after checkout, just in case the key had been left behind. After two hours of continuous effort and assistance from everyone involved, it was ultimately Mr. Thapa Pawan who found the key. He located it in the bushes right next to our car in the parking lot, where it had clearly been intentionally discarded by someone else. It is solely due to the tireless effort, sincere concern, and prompt actions of staff that we were able to avoid interrupting our travel plans and continue our journey smoothly. Their professionalism and dedication to service truly exemplify your hotel's high standards. Their outstanding effort and for going above and beyond to assist a guest deserves a praise and recognition! We will definately come back.

Rooms are spacious, clean, it had a mini ice box. I think the only negative would be no ice machine (at least we couldn't find one), and no microwave in the room. Other than that, the staff was outstanding! Breakfast buffet was well worth it. Ocean view from the room which was not a big deal being from Maui, but still great. Laundry facilities onsite, plenty of free parking. A great place if you want to be away from the city but still have things nearby of you need stuff.

👍🏾 The rooms are very big and comfortable. 👍🏾 It's within walking distance of The Rainbow Pine Forest and Karatsu Castle. Also very close to the JR Futaba Station. 👍🏾 The public bath is nice, but the floor around the bathing are is a bit slippery. 👍🏾 There are free toiletries for the to take in the lobby. 👍🏾 The yukata was stylish and comfortable. 😔 Breakfast was a little expensive and not as great as the first time I had stayed there. I was really disappointed that there was no omelette station. 👍🏾 The breakfast rolls and butter chicken curry were quite good.

Lots of parking slots, so not to worry about parking space. Full of signs of aging everywhere. Rooms and hardwares are like 70s. The buffet breakfast is really nice.
