I cannot fault anything from start to finish. During check-in, Jason Liu, front desk representative, was absolutely amazing, helping us glide through the check-in process with all the information we needed. Within a few minutes, we were sent up to our rooms to unwind from our long trip. Breakfast at Cafe on M was busy at times, which is understandable. Many selections of western and eastern foods—fresh fruits, bakeries, noodles, etc.—to choose from. Hong Kong tea is a must try. The staff were attentive and lovely, but I would like to especially thank John Cheung and Ivy Wan for their kind and warm hospitality. They went the extra mile to help us feel at home. Thank you. We were lucky to be able to walk and explore Hong Kong without rain and storms. The location of the hotel is convenient for MTR stations. Overall, we had a wonderful few days at the Intercontinental Grand Stanford.

We had a great stay at the InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong. The room was very spacious, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and room service was fast and excellent. The late-night menu didn’t have as much variety as during the day, but the quality of the food was very good. The amenities provided were exactly what you’d expect from a hotel of this standard. We appreciated the hotel’s sustainability efforts and would suggest replacing the complimentary water cans with refillable glass bottles. Adding a few more hangers in the bathroom would also help guests dry their towels, reducing unnecessary washing. Breakfast was good, with a wide variety of options and attentive, friendly staff who catered thoughtfully to guests’ needs. The only downside was the strong artificial scent in the lobby and hallways. While likely intended to freshen the air, it felt chemical and is not aligned with the hotel’s sustainability initiatives. It’s important to consider guests’ health, as aerosols can affect lung health — a more natural, eco-friendly alternative would be much better. Location was great, with nice views and close to touristic attractions .

A fantastic stay at the InterContinental Grand Stanford. I stayed 10 days at the InterContinetal Hotel Grand Stanford Hong Kong. The room was excellent plenty of space. The hotel has plenty of amenities. Pool Gym etc. I have previously sent a review of the 2 great restaurants that you would be advised to try. I must mention how wonderful the staff & service was. Staff were always cheerful professional being eager to please. If you need any advice the concierge’s are very good. I. Would definitely recommend this hotel for an extended stay. The Hotel is located on the water edge with great views off the Harbour. Being in Kowloon (Mainland) you get a real local perspective of the area. I had the pleasure of having access to the club lounge. It is easily the best lounge I have stayed in. The staff are extremely attentive. The food is very good, 1 night I just ate in the lounge with taste food. To Frank, Alex, Trixie & Megamus thank you for making my stay extra special with your warm welcome each day & smiling goodbye. I will be. Back.

A delightful stay at the InterContinental Grand Stanford. This hotel wins big on two fronts: breakfast and location. The breakfast is excellent—generous, varied, and genuinely tasty. From fresh fruit and pastries to made-to-order eggs and Asian specialties, everything was well-prepared and promptly replenished. The service team at breakfast is attentive without being intrusive, which makes starting the day here a pleasure. The location is another highlight. It’s close to great dining, shopping, and waterfront walks, with easy access to public transport and key sights. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, it’s a convenient base for exploring the city. If there’s a drawback, it’s the style of the rooms and some common areas. The decor feels a bit old-fashioned and could use a modern refresh. While the rooms are clean and comfortable, a renovation would elevate the experience to match the hotel’s otherwise high standards. Overall, I’d happily stay again. The superb breakfast, friendly service, and prime location outweigh the dated design. With a thoughtful update to the rooms, this would be close to perfect.
