The Hoxton, Southwark is located on Blackfriar’s Road in London’s Southwark, just minutes from Southbank Centre and a short stroll to London Bridge. The hotel is positioned close to Waterloo and Southwark Tube stations, offering easy access to Covent Garden, the West End and East London’s trendy neighbourhoods. The hotel is located approximately a 90-minute drive from London Gatwick Airport (LGW). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

  • Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 45 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

  • Dining Credit (select packages only): The included credit must be used during your stay. Any unused credit will be forfeited and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Credit can be used at any onsite venue (excludes minibar and room service). No minimum spend applies. If guests settle the bill in the restaurant at the time of dining, it will not count towards the credit allowance.
  • Daily breakfast is served at Albie from 7am to 10:30am, and includes one hot meal, one hot drink and one cold drink/juice.
  • Guests receive a voucher for the welcome cocktail at Albie, and can choose from beer, house wine or standard cocktails. Signature cocktails are not included.

I booked this hotel last minute as it was a stones throw from a party venue I was going to. So glad I did, it was such a treat! Staff were lovely, the location was great (a few minutes walk from Southwark tube) and the rooms were beautiful with so many lovely touches, including Roberts radio, clothes steamer, and lovely views from the huge windows. The bed and bedding were so soft and fluffy too, I had. A great night's sleep. And icing on the cake, check out at midday!

It’s my new favourite hotel. Best design- not “breathtaking”- just super stylish while also being super comfortable. AND THE ART. Real art in the walls, hung with flair and whimsy. Friendliest staff of any hotel I’ve been to in the entirety of my life. Great location. I was sad to leave. (All they need are washcloths, shower caps, and slippers. And the sink water pressure was terrible. But I don’t care, I’d go back again without a second thought. Also, while they don’t have the above mentioned items, they DO have real milk in the mini fridge, and they still have a note pad and pencil, which so many hotels have stopped having in the rooms.) The second level lounge is great for working late (or early- I was able to do late night (US time) zoom calls, undisturbed, comfortably, feeling very safe, and with plenty of room and access to plugging in my laptop. In a luxurious setting. 10/10 The restaurant downstairs, Albies, is also delightful. We had a good burger and really good fries. They make a great iced latte, too. And have lots of fun cocktails.

I stayed 4 nights at this hotel in one of the cozy rooms. It is vibrant and lively hotel in a great location. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. I had a thumping noise in my room the second night and the hotel moved me to another room so I could sleep. The problem was fixed promptly and I enjoyed another 3 nights there. My only downgrades were on 1) room service hours, but snacks were available at the front desk for a reasonable price; and 2) lighting in the rooms is with bare Edison style bulbs which is harsh. A softer shaded light source would have been nice. Also, amenities are limited in room—no cotton swabs or cotton balls and no wash clothes. All minor. I will definitely stay in Hoxton properties in the future.

I had a pleasant stay overall. The hotel is in a great location—situated in a quiet neighborhood but still close to train stations and plenty of good restaurants. The rooftop and lobby restaurants are excellent options if you prefer to dine in, and the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. When I first arrived, the bed sheets didn’t feel very clean. I requested a change at the lobby, and it was handled promptly. I believe this was more of a laundry handling issue rather than a reflection on the housekeeping staff, who were otherwise attentive. Overall, the experience was positive, and I’d consider staying here again.
