Our Holiday Inn Experience During Our 2025 Lisbon, Portugal Vacation 🇵🇹 My wife, son, and I stayed at the Holiday Inn during our 2025 trip to Portugal. Overall, the hotel was very clean and tidy. One of my favorite details was that the rooms were meticulously cleaned every day, without any need for reminders or warnings. 🌸 The front desk staff was both attentive and very polite. The restaurant was also very good; the food was meticulously prepared and truly delicious. We were especially pleased with the attentiveness and friendly smile of the restaurant manager, Vasco, for whom we extend a special thank you. 🙏 We wholeheartedly recommend Holiday Inn. From Turkey with love! 🇹🇷

It was good location, a little far from tourist attractions but good value for the money. Breakfast buffet was great, a lot of food and so was the dinner. I particularly loved the breakfast buffet better. Rooms and washrooms were clean but could use updating. Reception was great. Gym was ok. Didn’t use the pool but was there anyways. They have rooftop bar as well. I would highly recommend for a family or couples.

I loved this hotel, with a pool and a mini-gym after coming back from visiting all of Lisbon. It's super clean and super cool, very family-friendly. I recommend it!

Subject: Urgent request for refund of deposit and formal complaint regarding treatment of people with celiac disease Dear Sirs and Madam, I am writing to you regarding our stay at the Holiday Inn Lisbon by IHG from June 30th to July 4th. During the reservation, we were charged €50 as a deposit, an amount that has not been refunded to date, but has been permanently deducted from our account. Furthermore, we wish to express our deep dismay regarding a serious problem that occurred during our stay, related to the feeding of two people with celiac disease in our party (my wife and daughter). This condition was duly communicated in advance, however, the treatment received was totally unacceptable and humiliating. Instead of receiving understanding or support from the person in charge, we were held directly responsible, with statements such as: "You are the ones who should know what you can eat." This comment demonstrates a complete lack of training and sensitivity towards a serious medical condition such as celiac disease. Despite everything, we decided not to escalate the matter further at the time, as management treated us kindly. However, the non-refund of the €50 deposit changes the situation. If the amount is refunded as soon as possible and the incident is properly closed, we will consider the matter resolved and will take no further action. However, if the corresponding amount is not refunded in the next few days, we will be forced to escalate this complaint to the following departments: IHG Customer Service Relevant Consumer Affairs Office Associations advocating for the rights of people with celiac disease We await a prompt and satisfactory resolution.
