The building is historic but the rooms are lovely. They aren't top of the line but they were clean and functional. The bed was comfortable. One thing I will say is you are right in the middle of the action at the corner of canal st and bourbon St. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay and alot of street noise would annoy you I would stay somewhere else. We didn't mind the people and the music. The security that the hotel offers is great. After hours you need your room key to get into the hotel. And you need your room key at all times to get into the elevators. The staff was super friendly. We would stay here again!

Well our stay just started so I'm going to do 5 stars all the way and adjust later. But so far it's nice and everyone was friendly. The valet was way way helpful.... think it was a guy named Oscar. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Made us feel very welcomed as soon as we pulled up. Check in was easy. Room is nice nothing over the top. Ok PART 2 THOUGHTS AFTER MY STAY Staff was very nice and friendly. Great location especially if you like people watching. We went and stayed for Krewe of Boo

The location is great because its walking distance to almost everything. You can also take the street car. My room... smells weird (old) and the carpet has a big black stain on it and there was small pieces of paper on the floor which made ne feel like it hadn't been vacuumed. Update...it is now Saturday evening and I had to call the manager about the stain on the bed. It was still not taken care of when I returned to my room at 7 pm. Someone brought me sheets to put on the bed. I guess I'm supposed to make up the bed. If I had it to do over I would have selected some place else but it is a work trip and this is what was suggested by the event planner. The staff has been pleasant. Oh and the view. One tiny window that over looks the roof of the building. The attached photos were sent to the manager with NO impact on my the situation in my room.

Great location in the French quarter off canal and bourbon. Restaurants, bars, shopping and entertainment all within 10-15 max walk. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room is okay, not the most comfortable bed, no microwave but there’s a mini fridge and I had a nice view of bourbon street. I’d stay here again due to location alone and I get a good rate on the room. Overall it’s a good stay if you’re not looking for bells and whistles, just a decent place to lay your head while you explore the city. Also have to mention, it’s a great option for anyone traveling solo. I felt very safe with limited access to guest floors and the hotel in the evenings.
