The hotel, BreakFree Longbeach, was incredible. The staff reception and guests I met in passing were very friendly. The location is so close to Cavil Avenue its well located. The amenities (pool and gym) were a pleasure to use. Loved the whole experience.

Our two-bedroom apartment was perfect. Great location - a short stroll to the cafes and shops of Surfers Paradise. The apartment had awesome views, comfy beds and great facilities (large kitchen with dishwasher, laundry facilities, great showers), parking was easy and the kids loved the pools. Kevin the manager is super-helpful and went out of his way to make our stay fantastic. Thanks Kevin - we will definitely stay at Longbeach next time we're in Surfers Paradise.

We were happy with the privacy and spacious rooms, However, suite was not well maintained. There is a rug near the tv that is caked with dirt, air-conditioning system were filthy. Rooms were not vacuumed properly upon arrival. Doors were difficult to open / slide.

THE GOOD - Views, and location were magnificent, and apartment size was generous. THE BAD - The worst thing was the bathroom (both ensuite and main), water floods from tiled area onto hallway floor and bedroom floor due to a shoddy build. Tiling levels and fall are the main issue combined with the use of rainfall show heads displacing water volumes to drain waste with too small capacity. - Overall apartment Cleanliness is below any standard ever experienced; a poor effort provided for housekeeping. - the lounge chairs had visible sand left on them. - the bathroom looked like they had been given a 2-min once over, the same in the kitchen - I doubt the floors had been mopped in a long time. - The balconies were also dirty, including windows. - The sliding doors were sticky and heavy to slide open, not maintained. - The Blinds were ratty and completely covered in MOULD - Tired apartment decor, the lounge and chairs have lost their supportiveness - Noise level from adjacent construction began daily from 5am (CFMEU project - noise restrictions don't apply to them)
