The hotel, BreakFree Longbeach, was incredible. The staff reception and guests I met in passing were very friendly. The location is so close to Cavil Avenue its well located. The amenities (pool and gym) were a pleasure to use. Loved the whole experience.

Our two-bedroom apartment was perfect. Great location - a short stroll to the cafes and shops of Surfers Paradise. The apartment had awesome views, comfy beds and great facilities (large kitchen with dishwasher, laundry facilities, great showers), parking was easy and the kids loved the pools. Kevin the manager is super-helpful and went out of his way to make our stay fantastic. Thanks Kevin - we will definitely stay at Longbeach next time we're in Surfers Paradise.

We enjoyed our 5 nights stay at Longbeach (family with 2 young kids including a toddler). The location was fantastic- across the road from the beach and an easy 10 min walk to Cavill Ave. Kevin was so helpful and professional. The apartment was a bit outdated but comfortable (beds were fantastic!) and clean. Views were great from all parts of the apartment which was on level 24. One negative was that the balcony doors did not have any child lock features- which can be a concern for families with young children. The safety bolts did not work (no keys)- Other highrise apartments we have stayed in at Surfers had safety locks or simple chain locks that young kids cannot reach- which provides peace of mind for parents. There were some loud construction noises from the building across the road which can start quite early (one morning was 5.50am) but this is probably normal now around the area with all these development.

Cleanliness was appalling, sliding door did not lock, rubbish left in laundry sink, lounge collapsed while I was sitting on it (I weigh 53kg)! Dust and dirt everywhere. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and replaced the lounge. The apartment space was great (we had a 3 bedroom). But I wouldn’t rebook due to safety issues and cleanliness problems (see pics for some examples)
