Set sail from Paihia into the island-dotted waters of the Bay of Islands, where the day unfolds at an easy pace aboard a small-group sailing catamaran. Relax on deck or lend a hand with the sails as the crew share local stories and keep watch for wild dolphins, seabirds, penguins and other marine life – sightings are never guaranteed. Step ashore on an island selected to suit the conditions, with time to walk, swim, snorkel or unwind on the beach. Snorkelling equipment is supplied, and a barbecue lunch is served on board as you take in the Bay.
